Olivia “Liv” Boeree (born in 1984) is an English poker player with one WSOP bracelet and one EPT title. When Boeree won the EPT Main Event in Sanremo in April 2010, it was the largest ever poker tournament held on European soil, and the victory yielded her €1.25 million in prize money.
By August 2017, her total winnings from live tournaments exceeded $3.5 million.

Background
Liv Boeree was born and raced in Kent, England, where she attended the Ashford School. She then studied at the University of Manchester, where she earned a First Class Honours degree in Physics with Astrophysics.
Poker career
As one of five contestants, Boeree participated in the reality TV-show Ultimatepoker.com Showdown, where she reicieved poker coaching from Annie Duke, Phil Hellmuth and Dave Ulliott. The show aired on Channel 5 in the UK during the fall of 2005.
Boeree cotinued to play poker even after the show was over, and in May 2008 she earned $30,000 by winning the Ladbrokes European Ladies Championships.
European Poker Tour
As of June 2017, Boeree has made it to the money 12 times in EPT tournaments. As mentioned above, she won the EPT Sanremo Main Event in 2010. At the time, it was the largest live poker tournament ever held in Europe, and the first prize amounted to €1.25 million.
In August 2015, Boeree finished third in the EPT Barcelona High Roller event, capturing €391,000 in prize money.
WSOP
As of June 2017, Boeree has made it to the money 20 times at WSOP.
Her bracelet is from the WSOP 2017 Event #2, a $10,000 Tag Team No Limit Hold’em Championship. Her tag-team partner was Igor Kurganov, and the first prize amounted to $273,964.
UKIPT
In 2014, Boeree finnished second at the UKIPT Edinburgh Main Event.
